Boulder Beach!

 I took Sky to the Boulder Res this morning, he spent 2 and a half hours loving it! He played in the sand, in the water, had some lunch, peed in the sand, played with buckets, rakes, shovels, feathers, all of it! He even helped out some bigger kids to dig some water channel, he had a blast! All we were missing was Brendan... who comes home tomorrow morning :)

Birthday party fun!

Sean, my friend Caitlin's baby, just turned one... and the kiddos had a blast at the party! Sky loved it... but what is there not to love about bubbles, kiddy pool, burgers and cupcakes???? Sky's favorite part remains the birthday song though :))

On est alles aux 1 an d'un petit copain cette aprem, et Sky en a bien profite!! Que des trucs bien: bulles, petite piscine, hamburgers, petits gateaux d'anniversaire.... Mais surtout, chanter Joyeux anniversaire :))

Thunder storm

We played outside all morning, but it's been raining since Sky woke up from his nap, it's a sweet storm with lightning and thunder.... but we decided to chill inside: made some crepes, took out some beads, made a necklace, and established camp on the kitchen floor :) (And all that in his sweet brand new tiny boxers!) Now the storm is gone, time to get out and play some more!!!

On a joue dehors toute la matinee, mais depuis que Sky s'est reveille de la sieste, il pleut, c'est une belle petite tempete, eclairs, orage et tout, mais du coup on a decide de rester peperes a la maison: on a fait des crepes pour le gouter, sorti les perles, fait un collier, et fait un camp de base dans la cuisine :) (Et tout ca avec ses super nouveaux petits calecons!) La tempete est maintenant finie, on peut retourner jouer dehors un petit coup!

Waking up

So cute Skyouche!!!!

Sky on the deck... waking up from his nap, drinking his milk, just chilling :) And all that without a diaper!!! It's been TWO DAYS without diapers for other than at night, rocking the shorts and big boy underwear!!!

Papa est rentre!

Brendan worked an extra shift this week, so it was 3 days without him at home!
And now he's back, so Sky gets to catch up :)

Une belle phrase!

J'ai presque oublie de mettre un petit mot a propos de la premiere phrase de Skyouche! Sky a fait sa premiere phrae officielle ce matin. On est partis de la maison direction l'aquarium de Denver, mais on s'est arrete sur la route: on est passe dire bonjour a Brendan a la Station de pompiers. Sur le chemin, il y a pas mal de vaches, qui broutent penardes au pied des collines. Sky ne fait pas trop la difference entre pres et loin, mais il fait la difference entre petit et gros :) De son siege auto, il a dit "petit cows, l'est ou, l'est ou?" et voila: une belle phrase un peu melangee, mais ca compte ;)

I almost forgot to put that in! Today Sky officially made what I am going to call his first sentence :) We left home, and drove to Brendan's fire Station on our way to the Aquarium. We took Hwy 93 thru Golden to get there, which is lined with cows grazing at the bottom of the hills. Sky has no concept of distance, but he knows size: "petit" and "gros" (little and big). In very clear speech from his car seat, today he said: "petit cows l'est ou, l'est ou?" Literally that would be something like little cows, where at, where at? Nice work baby :)

It's just another night, and just another bath, but still so much fun!!
