Walking, here I come!

Real men take care of business first thing
in the morning... Before putting a diaper on!

Sky, this morning, got up, escaped naked, made a phone call, and started walking :D He has been taking a few steps on his own this last couple of days... and I finally caught him standing up with the camera!

Quick Sacramento-San Francisco trip!

The van finally got its engine swapped! It was 2 weeks later than we thought, so we only had a few days to go get it instead of the planned 10 days :( So we flew to go pick it up in Sacramento. We met up with Michel and Janis in Sacramento, and spent the night at Jimmy and Bobbie's, Brendan's aunt and uncle, after going out for dinner with Brendan's grandma, and Bobbie's dad :) The next day my Mom met us in Sacramento with my brother. I drove to SF with baby, while Brendan drove the van back to Boulder... I saw my family in SF, and then flew back home with baby. We did have time to check out the ocean, the waves and the sand, and Sky thought it was pretty freakin' sweet!

Un an!!

Happy Happy Happy Birthday to our little guy!!!

Et voila! Ce week-end c'etait l'anniversaire de Sky... 1 an! On est alles faire griller des saucisses, et se balader avec toute la bande :) On a chante Joyeux Anniversaire a Sky toute la journee, et il a eu plein de beaux cadeaux... Il a souffle sa bougie sur les genoux de son pere :) Je ne mets que quelques photos pour l'instant, je vais regrouper toutes les photos de tout le monde, et mettre les belles sur le blog... Bon anniversaire Skyouche!

Bouldering in Estes

Last week-end we went bouldering in Estes with Chad & Melissa, and their little one, Camden. We got mislead by the 80 year old ranger, got some sweet hiking in with little ones in the saddle while desperately hoping to see the boulder jump in sight, and finally found some rock to get on! Finding the rock never seems as easy as the book says :) Once there, the big people climbed, and the little people had a party on the pads! Not sure which ones had the most fun ;)

Brendan decided to get some work done on the closet while I slept after working the night before: Sky seems psyched to help out!

Premiere carte d'anniversaire!!

Sky a recu au courrier sa premiere carte d'anniversaire... et ca va etre dur de suivre la marche ouverte par Mamou... une carte puzzle! Sky etait tres concentre, et tres fier de lui aussi, il s'aplaudissait a chaque piece qu'il separait du puzzle :) Il en a goute quelques unes, juste pour etre sur que ca n'etait pas un cadeau comestible... on ne sait jamais.

Sky got his first birthday card in the mail from his great grandma: a puzzle card... so much fun :) He was really concentrated and proud of himself for separating the little pieces. He couldn't resist tasting a few... just to make sure it wasn't an edible card!
